Me being from the world of ems and firefighting, worked closely with officers. Maybe we can talk some trash about crazy calls the we've had. wait until you see some of the crazy shit that goes on in the world! I hope you get the respect and remain safe in your new career. Please, please come back around and let us know how its going. Guess you have to go through an academy for training? when I went through fire service training, we really gave the cops to be some razzing.

Tis truly a bittersweet moment. Sad to see you leave McF, but like others have said, glad to see you making a long term career move.

You thought you got some crazy e-mails, but just wait until you start getting those crazy ass calls, lol. You're going to have stories to tell for the rest of your life. I've been in Law Enforcement (Sheriff's Office and Air Force) for the last 15 years and there's never a dull moment. Just when you think you're having a boring night, you'll get the craziest ass call to respond to, lol.

You'll surely be missed by the more mature group on the boards. You're replacement is going to have some tough, if not impossible, shoes to fill.
